01 / THE FAMILY HEIRLOOM

Every dent has a story.

Grandpa ran the guide routes. His mother hauled traps. Nobody talks much about the midnight cargo. This vessel has passed through generations of swamp guides, trappers and the occasional smuggler — each leaving a patch, a borrowed part and a story in the wood.

She’s rickety, stubborn and customized with whatever the family could find. The brass lamps belonged to a great-grandfather; the salvage rack has been repaired more times than anyone can count. There are newer boats. There’s only one of this one.

She ain't pretty, and she roars loud enough to wake the dead, but this rig can glide over two inches of mud and outrun anything with claws in this swamp.— The family’s Airboat Pilot
02 / BUILT FOR THE BACKWATERS

A little rough. A lot of character.

The original heirloom airboat’s survival kit

01

Vine-proof iron

Heavy iron mesh wraps the rear propeller cage, keeping grabbing swamp vines away from the spinning blades.

02

Eyes in the fog

Bow-mounted brass lamps and searchlights pick out channels and drifting roots on midnight runs.

03

Slide over the shallows

A reinforced flat bottom, sealed with grease and tar, glides across mudflats and shallow roots.

04

Room for the haul

Makeshift racks carry traps, gear and questionable salvage. A worn pilot’s perch watches over it all.
