Terms & Conditions
Effective date & version: 2026-10-11
1. About Swampology
Swampology.com is an independently operated gaming, music, social networking, and entertainment platform managed by kb and lucky. Members can connect, share gaming profiles, playlists, music links, videos, artwork, and other creative content. These Terms govern your use of Swampology.com and its community features.
2. Independent operation and non-affiliation
Swampology.com is not affiliated with, associated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially connected to any other company, organization, brand, business, or entity using the name “Swampology.” The platform is independently managed. Its use of the name does not represent a relationship with another Swampology entity.
3. Accounts and acceptance
You must have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms, meet applicable age requirements, and obtain a parent or guardian’s authorization where required. Provide accurate account information, protect your password, and do not share login credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account, subject to applicable law. Do not create accounts to evade restrictions or impersonate another person, business, or organization. New account registration requires express agreement to these Terms and acknowledgment of the Legal Disclaimer and Privacy Policy. Existing accounts are preserved; these documents do not retroactively record an agreement that was never given.
4. Your content and permissions
You are responsible for the content you upload, post, link, or share. You must own it, have permission from the rights holder, or otherwise have a lawful right to share it. Do not upload copyrighted music, videos, artwork, game footage, or other material without the required rights or authorization. Buying a song, subscribing to a service, or finding content online does not by itself give you permission to upload or redistribute it. Obtain any necessary permission from people depicted in your content. Respect third-party service terms and the rights of creators.
5. Content ownership and limited permission
You keep the rights you hold in your original content. By submitting content, you grant Swampology a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, process, display, and deliver it only as needed to operate the features you choose, protect the service, and handle lawful requests. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated commercial resale of your work. It ends when your content is removed, except where copies must be retained for technical backup, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Copies that other users lawfully downloaded or shared may remain outside our control.
6. Community conduct
Do not harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against, or exploit other people. Do not post illegal content, sexual exploitation material, non-consensual intimate content, doxxing, scams, malware, or instructions intended to facilitate unlawful harm. Do not impersonate people or organizations, misrepresent affiliations, manipulate votes, spam members, or abuse reporting tools. Do not bypass access controls, extract private data, or interfere with the service. Gaming IDs are identifiers for connecting with players; never submit passwords, security codes, access tokens, or login credentials.
7. Gaming, music, and third-party services
Third-party brands, games, music, logos, trademarks, and other materials belong to their respective owners. Swampology does not claim ownership of them. Linking to or displaying an official player, music, or game service does not imply endorsement or partnership. Availability, playback, regional restrictions, account requirements, friend requests, and crossplay depend on the relevant provider. Swampology cannot guarantee that every track, profile, or game feature will be accessible. A saved link is not a download license. Third-party links and embedded players are subject to their providers’ terms and privacy practices.
8. Reporting and moderation
Use the Report a concern form in the legal section to report copyright violations, impersonation, harassment, illegal content, privacy concerns, or account-related issues. Include the exact page or content link and a clear explanation. Copyright claimants should identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, their authority to act, and a signed good-faith statement. We provide a private report reference and tracking code so you can check for a response. Authorized moderators can review reports, ask for clarification through the report response, and take proportionate action, including content removal or access restrictions where appropriate. Reports are not automatically proof of a violation; malicious or knowingly false reports are prohibited. Use the same reporting process to request review of a moderation decision. The website is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services for imminent danger.
9. Privacy and sharing choices
The Privacy Policy explains the information we handle and your choices. Profile details and uploaded community content are generally public. Gaming share-card IDs follow the visibility settings you choose: public, accepted friends only, or hidden. Public share links and downloaded cards can be forwarded by others. Do not publish information you need to keep confidential. Selecting a private setting does not recall copies previously made while content was public.
10. Service availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a useful community service, but availability, accuracy, security, and uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed. User-submitted statements, rankings, high scores, and content are not automatically verified. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, waives mandatory consumer or privacy rights, or removes our legal responsibilities. These Terms do not guarantee that the operators are protected from every legal claim.
11. Ending use, changes, and questions
You can stop using the platform and delete your account through your player-profile settings. We may restrict access or remove content to address violations, security issues, lawful requests, or service changes, with notice and an opportunity for review where practicable and legally required. The version and effective date appear here. Material changes will be identified in the legal section; fresh consent will be sought when required by applicable law. Contact the operators using Report a concern for terms, privacy, rights, or moderation questions. These Terms remain subject to applicable law and any rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be waived.
